We Had a Great Time !
On the afternoon of October 12, 2008, the Southern Comforters hosted their annual bingo event at the Bowie Knights of Columbus,
Boswell Hall, 6111 Columbian Way, Bowie, MD 20715.

Doors opened at 12:30 pm, games began at 2:00 pm
Prizes were one of a kind creations made by the Southern Comforters. Winners took home such treasures as:
- wall, throw, and bed-sized quilts
- placemats and table runners
- quilted totes and handbags
- tree skirts and other holiday items
Admission included one pack of 16 cards (1 card of 6 chances for each regular game). Additional packs of 16 regular game cards were available for $5.00 per pack. Additional Special game sheets could be purchased for $5.00 per set, which included two sheets of 6 chances for each special game.
Other fun events included door prizes, raffle baskets, and a bake sale of homemade delectables. The Knights also had hamburgers, hot dogs, and other light foods and drinks available for sale. See some photos from the 2007 bingo event.
NOTE: All attendees required a ticket. Attendees between the ages of 12 and 18 were required to be accompanied by an adult. No persons under the age of 12 was admitted.
