Southern Comforters Quilt Guild of Bowie, Maryland

2008 Quilt Show

A Garden of Quilts!

On March 15-16, 2008, the Southern Comforters hosted their annual quilt show at the C. Elizabeth Rieg School. The amazing collection of over 150 quilts by guild members drew many appreciative comments and votes. Many of the winning quilts will be shown again at the 2009 show, for those who may have missed them.

The raffle quilt was won by guild friend, Nola Heffner (Click on the picture to see a full-sized view.)

Ribbon Winners

All show attendees were asked to vote for their favorites in six different categories. Ribbons were awarded for the top three in each category. Ribbons were also awarded for Members Choice. Click on the picture to see a full-sized view.
